Currently, we are responsible for the training and competency assessment of several hundred telecommunications trainees for a national employer in conjunction with a national carrier as well as the trainees for smaller telecommunications companies / contractors.

The telecommunications industry has developed a series of qualifications set out in the nationally approved ICT02 Telecommunications Training Package and these range from the entrance level, Certificate II in Telecommunications to the highest level of Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications.

Within each qualification there is a choice of competencies to enable the tailoring of training and the qualification  to meet specific industry/ enterprise skills needs.

Our cabler registration courses (Open and Restricted) meet the requirements of the Australian and Media Authority (ACMA) and its five cabler registrars for cabler registration. The cabling courses will also deliver specialist competencies which can be added to your Open Registration card and contribute to your career enhancement and increase job opportunities.

Specialist competencies include structured cat5/6, optical fibre and coaxial cabling and the testing and commissioning of these specialist transmission media.

Our extensive training and assessment services are offered throughout Australia at our specialist training facilities and elsewhere when needed. In-house training and assessment can also be organised to reduce training costs for the employer/enterprise.

In addition you may apply to Ramsden to gain all or part of a qualification through Ramsden's RPL service. This recognition of prior learning (RPL) service involves you can having the skills and knowledge you have accumulated from your past training and work experience assessed for contribution to a current telecommunications qualification.
