Our cabler registration courses meet the requirements of the Australian Communications & Media Authority (ACMA) for Registration and also deliver competencies which contribute to your Certificate II in Telecommunications, or Certificate II in Telecommunications Cabling, or Certificate III in Telecommunications which are nationally recognised qualifications.

ACMA Open Registration Course |
The ACMA Open Registration Course enables those with customer premises cabling experience, OH&S and knowledge of electrical principles to qualify for the ACMA Open Registration (previously Austel Licence).
It also enables you to legally install and maintain telephone/data/security/fire protection cabling in all types of customers' premises.
The course covers the mandatory cabler knowledge and practical skills under The Telecommunications Act and The Wiring Rules (AS/ACIF S009) together with requisite knowledge of basic telephony and switching systems overview.
